Bullhead City is located in Arizonas west-central Mohave County, on the east bank of the beautiful Colorado River. The Tri-State area is where parts of Arizona, Nevada and California all come together bringing unique flavors. Bullhead City is located across the Colorado River from one of the nations most popular gaming communities Laughlin, Nevada.
Mohave Valley and Fort Mojave are located just south of Bullhead City. These two growing communities are bordered on the west by the states of Nevada and California, and on the east by the Black Mountains of Arizona. Mohave Valley and Fort Mojave are the fastest growning communities along the Colorado River. Water sports on the Colorado River, hiking, off-road vehicle sports, hunting, exploring ghost towns, rock hounding and prospecting are just a few of the recreational activities available in the neighboring desert around Bullhead City, Mohave Valley and Fort Mojave.
Parker is located on the east bank of the pristine Colorado River. Created between Parker Dam, the world's deepest dam, and Headgate Rock Dam, the Parker Strip is the finest stretch of water for recreational boating because of its ideal climate. Parker boating and outdoor recreation is alive with boaters, water skiers, wake boarders, personal watercraft riders and fishermen, all enjoying the natural beauty of this desert oasis. The Parker Strip is one of the only communities in Arizona where waterfront property lines the entire 16 mile stretch of the Colorado River.
Kingman - "Heart of Historic Route 66", is the Mohave County seat and is located east on Interstate 40 from Lake Havasu, on U.S. 93 from Las Vegas, and east on Hwy. 68 from Bullhead City/Mohave Valley. Kingman's elevations range from 3,300 to 3,800 feet offering a cooler climate surrounded by the Hualapai, Cerbat and Black Mountains. Hiking, picnicking, camping, and other outdoor activities abound in Kingman.
